About Us

This Website was created to allow the visiter the best opportunity to get involved with the sport of curling in the KC Metro Area. Whether is be as a:The uninitiated will find that Curling is a lifetime sport (ages 10-80+); played at an equal level by either gender; can be played individually (joining more experienced Curlers), with a friend/family member or creating your own team of 4 (PDF). (more if you want your own Subs; and is more physical than it appears but doesn't nessasarily favor the strongest or fastest individuals.

Chicago's 60th ANNUAL MEN’S INTERNATIONAL BONSPIEL


January 15 through January 18, 2009
Thirty-two teams Four-event bonspiel

Beginning Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m Finals Sunday afternoon. Teams must be composed of four curlers. The Chicago Curling Club will provide all, and reserve final decisions concerning, substitutes which may be required.


Dear Fellow Curlers, it’s time again to register for our annual men’s bonspiel. Help us celebrate the 60th anniversary of this great event. We will be doing some special things to commemorate this milestone year. You will want to be here.

Your $420 (US)* entry fee per team (check payable to Chicago Curling Club) includes: Our famous Steak Fry Thursday night House Dinner Parties on Friday night Light breakfasts, snacks and great lunches each day Saturday Happy Hour (and a half), 5:30-7:00 with Complimentary Food, Raffle Prizes, Auction and Boat-Races Patron Pins are available to Non-Curler Attendees for $50.00 Thursday Night Steak Dinner is $20).

Deadline for receipt of your entry form and fee is November 7th, 2007.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Renaissance North Shore Hotel, which is within walking (stumbling) distance of the Chicago Curling Club. Local hotel information for the Renaissance and other local hotels will be forwarded with your confirmed entry.

The receipt of your entry form will be acknowledged by phone or email when it is received. All teams submitting entries will be notified by November 15th of your team status—either confirmed for the Bonspiel, or placed on the waiting list.

Simple Spectator



Pepsi Ice Midwest has grandstand from which anyone is welcome to watch us play. There is no charge and many time we will have 2-4 matches being played as seen at the schedule to the right.

Feel free to ask us any questions you might have if you can catch us after a game or join us as we typically broomstack at the facility or at a Bar and Grill close by. Beer and Food are optional.
